Welcome to Chuchi's

To inaugurate the opening of the performing arts parlor, muralist Ryan of @RAWBags was commissioned to paint the Otomi lunar goddess, an homage to Chuchi's indigenous ancestors. RAWBags painted this welcoming portrait of the Young Mother, the Mother Elder, precocious beasts, and the Three Sisters (crops of squash, corn, and beans). The blending of Otomi traditional art style with graphic art influence paint a story of the cycles of death and birth, cultivation and hunting, and the harmonic balance of nature.​
